BENEFITS OF LASH EXTENSIONS:
Saves time. Eyelash extensions are already very distinctive in themselves, you don't have to put on and remove any make-up. Forget crumbled and smeared mascara. They are still with you. You don't have to worry that someone will catch you without make-up, it will enhance your beauty anytime and anywhere. It will last for weeks. You can safely enjoy your favorite sports, swimming and going to the sauna. With proper care, they will be beautiful for several weeks until they fall out naturally along with the natural eyelash. It suits everyone. Due to the many materials available, the shapes, lengths, and effects, eyelash extensions emphasize the beauty of everyone and can even cover minor imperfections. They are safe. When applied correctly, they do not destroy natural eyelashes, the artificial eyelashes used are hypoallergenic and there are also available eyelash glues suitable for more sensitive clients. You will relax. The application of eyelash extensions is completely painless and lasts about an hour and a half. During it, you will have a great rest on a comfortable chair, most clients will even sleep through the whole application. They can be easily removed at any time. If eyelash extensions happen to start to bore you, it is not a problem to remove them. Removal is done by using special removers, it is painless and does not destroy natural eyelashes.
CLASSIC HYBRID OR VOLUME?
What's the difference Between Classic, Volume & Hybrid Eyelash Extensions? If you are new to the world of eyelash extensions,  different terms are used for different techniques that you should understand. They are Classic, Hybrid, and Volume extensions in which each one is a different technique. We are going to cover the grounds of them all. One thing that each technique has in common when it comes to the installation is the isolation process. This is where you take one natural lash and get it in between your isolation tweezers so that when you place your extension, it won't get stuck to other lashes. So let's get to it!
What are classic eyelash extensions?
Classic eyelash extensions are simple, beautiful, and natural-looking eyelash extensions. They are applied on a 1:1 ratio, which means one extension is attached to one natural lash. This allows you to achieve a natural enhancement. Classic eyelash extensions come in a range of materials, thicknesses lengths, and styles, which is a part of our training. Classic eyelash extension application typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete and the results should be soft, natural-looking. Classic lashes won’t add much volume but will add length. Classic extensions offer an even lash line that opens up the eye.
What are volume eyelash extensions?
Volume eyelash extensions vary from a natural look which adds some length and volume, to a very dramatic and full look. The lashes range from 2D-6D and anything over 4D is going to appear that your client is wearing a strip versus the natural look that classic and hybrid extensions would give. This technique can be done with pre-made fans or the fans can be made by hand using a special tweezer. The fans are still attached to natural lashes but they come in .03, .05, .07 which are lighter than classic extensions as far as the thickness. It typically takes 2-4 hours depending on whether or not the technician uses pre-made fans.
What are hybrid lashes?
Hybrid lashes are a 70-30 mixture of both classic lashes and volume lashes. Choosing hybrid extensions gives your clients the best of both worlds. The look is achieved by mixing classic lashes and volume lashes that are placed strategically to frame the eyes. Hybrid extensions offer a variety of textures and more volume but without the sometimes unnatural look of volume lashes. For clients who want a lash line with a bit more volume but not quite as full as volume extensions, this technique will provide the perfect balance.
LASH EXTENSION PREP:
Come to your appointment without any eye makeup. Your lash artist will always clean your lashes prior to applying for the lash extensions however, this is not removing makeup, which will take away from lash application time. Avoid using waterproof mascara 2-3 days prior as it can leave a residue that may prevent lashes from adhering properly. Avoid using sunscreens or moisturizers prior to your appointment. Don’t curl your lashes prior to your appointment If you have lash extensions currently from another salon you will need to schedule a required 15-minute consultation at the beginning of your lash extension appointment. Use the restroom right before your appointment. Bring music or a podcast to listen to! Wear your glasses or remove your contacts prior to your appointment. We do provide solutions and cases if needed. If you haven’t filled out the consent form prior to your appointment, come a little early to complete it. If you have lash extensions currently from another salon you will need to schedule a required 15-minute consultation prior to booking your lash fill. The artist will need to assess how much time will be needed for the full appointment. Sometimes the lashes may need to be completely removed and a new set put on. It is also harder to fill over another studio's lashes and often requires a bit more time. Brides: We suggest that you get your full set of lash extensions applied a minimum of a month ahead of time and then schedule one to two fill appointments before your wedding so that adjustments can be made and you get the exact look you want for your big day. Please don’t get extensions put on for the first time right before your wedding in case they are not exactly what you are envisioning or in case you have any type of reaction!
AFTERCARE
Don’t get your lash extensions wet for 12-24 hours. Avoid hot showers (with steam), saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, or tanning beds for 48 hours. Sleep on your back or side to avoid sleeping on the lashes. Do not pull, twist, or rub your lashes for the first 12-24 hours (or at all if possible). Wash your lashes EVERYDAY, even if you don’t wear makeup. You can keep your lashes clean by washing them with our Lashology cleanser 1-2 times per day, especially after a workout. Rinse your lashes as quickly as possible after crying, sweating, or being exposed to salt water to avoid salt build-up. Brush lashes gently as needed with the styling wand provided to you after your appointment. Don’t overbrush your lashes, especially in the first 12-24 hours. Our glue does NOT require that you keep them dry after the service. You may get them wet or work immediately Avoid oil and solvents around the lashes. This includes makeup removers, eye creams & face wash. This will help with your lash retention. Do not use mascara or eyeliner. Any makeup that sits on your lash line will cause quicker fallout. Don’t manually curl or perm your lash extensions. Avoid cotton around your eyes, it will act like velcro to your lashes.
